China's medical device exports rise 14% as makers take rehab robots and AI ventilators abroad
One maker says 60% of its orders come from abroad. One Chinese rehab robot already sells in Brazil.

Rehabilitation robots, portable oxygen concentrators and AI-driven sleep ventilators are among the elderly-care products on show at phase three of the 140th Canton Fair, China News Service reported on November 3. According to the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE), Chinese medical device exports reached US$42.318 billion from January to September 2026, up 14.38%.
Shandong Zepu Medical (泽普医疗) showed a robot combining AI and bionic motion control for lower-limb training. It sells in Russia, Brazil and Singapore, and the company’s 2025 overseas revenue was about 30 million yuan, up 210%, according to manager Wang Junke.
Sichuan Qianli Beikang (千里倍益康) gets about 60% of orders from abroad, across more than 70 countries, and presented an oxygen concentrator that needs no nasal cannula. Beijing Aeonmed (谊安医疗) brought an AI-algorithm sleep ventilator; the company has plants in the US and Indonesia, sells in more than 160 countries and grew overseas sales by about 42% through September.
CSP take: rehab and home care are niches where Chinese suppliers are already set up to export. For Brazilian importers, Zepu’s presence in the country shows a regulatory path exists; ask suppliers for approvals obtained and local references. This reading is ours, not the sources’.
